Hey All,
Clocked up 5500 miles on my GS since buying it in December with 600 miles on the clock and the first service just completed. I was hoping to maybe get it serviced this weekend in anticipation of 2 trips to France in June, but I didn't get my finger out in time and now all the dealers are shut as it's Bank Holiday.
Next weekend is hopefully gonna be a lap of Snowdonia, so it's utterly conceivable that I'm not going to get the chance to have her serviced until the odometer is around 6500. Question is, will this be frowned upon in terms of warranty?
To my mind I should be OK until 6600 miles since the interval is 6000 and not 5400, but I don't like being in a position where it comes down to splitting hairs over a couple of hundred miles. For what it's worth she's not used a drop of oil or missed a beat since I've owned 'er, so I don't expect anything to seize or fall off if I go a couple of miles over.
But what's the general consensus with warranties et al?
Mup.
