Dropped my new 1200 off for its 600 mile service today and came away on an '09 plate 800. These little 800's are really quite good, aren't they......:)

That's all......:augie

....and for road use, might be even better if fitted with a 19" front wheel, if not a 17" one.

Mmmm.......17" wheels, sticky rubber, better suspension, four pot calipers on the front, a full exhaust system, Power Commander, Renazco seat.....:augie

That will be the 1200 then:augie

I thought when I got mine I'd be fitting a smaller front wheel

But there's no need ... the 21" rim is fine, the bike's better than me as is :thumb

Aye.....on the one I've got, someone seems to have had the leg of the sidestand down and quite possibly the gear lever by the looks of it.

However.....it's obvious that the 21" front wheel slows down the rate at which the bike will turn and it feels as if it could do with some more weight over the front end. With a 17" wheel on front, it would obviously flick-flack through ess bends with something approaching supermoto agility.

I need to stop this, I've just got a new 1200.....:blast
