hi my 2001 gs is nearing its 20k service can anyone tell me wot this involves , valves were reset at 13k dont want to pay over priced service if all they do is change oil cheers
It only takes about 20 minutes to check and adjust the valves, so it won't break the bank.

20k service? Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the service intervals be 6k, 12k, 18k etc.?
I was thinking just the same thing. The bike is either a bit late for its 18k minor service or too early for its 24k major service.
