Can anyone recommend a good independent in the Borders area? Coming up to the 48000 service and I want to know its had a through going over.

If you don't get anywhere, try PM'ing Forry. He was the Laird o' Berwick until Llandaff needed a new village idiot. If there's one in the area, Forry will know
Try Andy Minns at Border Bikes. Top bloke. Used to be in Berwick until a fire upstairs sorted that out set of premises.
Very, very happy to recommend him & his dad.
I know that others on this here forum have had their bikes serviced there, and IIRC bought bikes from there too, including the aforementioned "Forry".
Other than getting my bike serviced there, I have no other connections with him or his premises.

Andy Minns at Border Bikes, he even got me an 1150GSA in 2002 and an HP2 in 2007 when there was no local BMW dealer(MRE Dalkeith were closing and wouldn't take a trade in)........!

I got my 100GS from him in Nov. 2005 (He delivered it in the snow
