SERVO ABS UNIT

Any advice please, I would welcome any comments as to wether this fully working Servo ABS 2 unit is worth selling ? it is from a 2002 1150 GS it’sdone approximately 20 K, with no issues, why take it off I hear you say, because I didn’t want it Professionally removed by ex BMW technician Roy Gardner.

They tend to stop working if they sit on a shelf. I won’t fit secondhand units to customers bikes as they usually stop working within a short time. Customers do supply their own units obtained from breakers and they may come with a 6 month guarantee, but that doesn’t cover the cost of removing and refitting the replacement unit, which customers find hard to understand for some reason, and then the replacement of the replacement is likely fail again, and so on ad Infinitum

If someone is doing the swop/replacement their self it's worth trying.
If they're paying someone to do the work it could work out very expensive and they're no better off at the end of it. .
