Filled my tank with V-Power today - engine definitely felt smoother, more responsive and improved acceleration, bet the top speed would be higher also - must be all those extra octane thingies - will be using this stuff from now on ;-)

Seconded! In Germany the Shell V-max has been around for a while and is 100 octane, and the super-plus is 98 octane whereas I think the previous Optimax and BP's ultimate is 97. My previous boxer BM (R1100S) also ran smoother and more eagerly on 98+octane fuel, with the "V-max " showing the most obvious improvement.
