Looking for a bit of advice ref the rear shock on my 1100GS.
I have narrowed it down to 3 makes,
YSS. fully adjustable. £259:00 delivered. Off the shelf.2 year wty.
Spoke to a few people about these and reports are pretty good. Made in Thailand. Until 7 years ago they were a budget shock absorber manufacturer, more about price than quality. Then they employed a couple of European designers who 'upped' the game a little bit. Now making a budget, fairly good quality shock.
HAGON. Fully adjustable. £299 delivered. Off the shelf. 2 year wty.
British made shock. Fairly well made, popular shock.
Wilbers ECOline. Pre load adjustment only. £329 delivered, made to your spec/weight) 2 year wty (5 if checked by Wilbers after 2 years).
Great shock, lots of good feedback, only downside is it don't have comp/rebound damping adjustment.
My initial thoughts are Wilbers, only because everyone swears by them. Am I going for the badge here? Would a YSS for instance do the job just as well??
Any thoughts??
