I much prefer the integrated Sena comms in terms of aesthetics .
Unfortunately they have let me down over the years.
Had a Sena SRL2 fail and be replaced a couple of years ago.
I ‘upgraded’ to the SRL Mesh when it was introduced.Worked great for 6 months.
Then it developed a fault on our trip to Picos where it would power off a few seconds after powering on, despite being fully charged.
After numerous resets and faffing it suddenly resumed working .
Then on Loire trip with wife on Wing in October the fucking thing died on day 3 and wouldn’t turn back on again .
Tried it a few days and it was dead. Got home and it powered on fine .
Took it out of helmet and back to Motolegends and they sent it off to Sena .A few weeks later I received a new SRL Mesh in the post, which I promptly sold.
I’d already been trialling Cardo Packtalk Edge in Shark flip over for a few months and was impressed with the better sound quality than the Sena ,and the louder volume.
And the battery is three/four times as good. Ride all day using the Sena and sometimes the battery would be low by the evening . Do the same with the Cardo, and the aural battery check as you power down the unit was usually 70/75% !
The best bit though is you only have to buy one full kit as Cardo do a 2nd helmet kit for £75 !

So I’ve now got Cardo fitted in 2 Shark Evos, Shoei Glamster and Neotec 3.

Evskij had similar issues with SRL Mesh and had to get a replacement. He’s also switched to Cardo.
Just hoping Cardo is reliable as I had a G9X years ago and the battery died on that ……
