Just returned from a shopping trip in Andorra and thought I would share my experiences with all. All the bike shops are located on the south approach into Andorra via La Seu d'Urgell in Spain on the N260. They stretch both sides of the road for a kilometre or two and vary in size from super store style to very small shops specializing in just a few items. All pricing is in Euros but not all the prices shown are what you pay, sometimes it's quite a bit less. Real bargains seem to be the end of line stuff, just as in the UK and you take you chance with whatever size remains. I was looking for trials type boots and suffer from having large wide feet so this proved quite a challenge but struck gold in the last small shop that we came across and stocked Gaerne boots plus a few other off road related items.
Did no research as to what was a good deal because with my foot size I really didn't know which make or style would fit but ended up getting a good deal with the Gaernes which cost 160 euros. Not such a good deal with a pair of Sidi rain boots which were 179 euros and even less so with a camera I bought an Olympus TG320 Tough which cost 140 euros after haggling. Could have sourced one off e bay cheaper!
What is really cheap though is fags and booze, I think Marlborough were about 2.50 euros a packet and a litre of Ricard was 7.50 euros.
Can't tell you any other prices other than fuel which was 1.30 euros for 95 grade.
Did get stopped by the Spanish customs on the way out but all they were interested in was if we had bought alcohol or cigarettes so don't believe stories of having to conceal all your purchases form the customs by wearing what ever you have bought!
