Short indicators

I need shorter indicators to fit with my panniers.
What size stalks do I need, or can I alter the existing ones.
It is a Touratech frame I'll be fitting.

I've just fitted the TT side racks, and realised indicators were in the way.
Just bought an indicator shortening kit from the metal Mule Site today.
Means I can keep the original lenses etc.
