Hi again, crikey, months go by without me starting any new threads, now two in two days.
Has anyone who's lowered their Megamoto down onto the lowest height settings noticed how upright the bike is when on it's sidestand ? How much do I have to 'cut' out of the length of the sidestand, any ideas ?
I'm always having to look for the slope of the carpark when I leave the bike, sod's law says one day I'm going to get that wrong.

Whilst I'm on here, can I ask if the dreaded FPC woes also affect us MM owners ? Is there a recall planned for us as well ? Anyone able to answer that little query ?

How did you go about lowering your ride height, and what difference did it make to the handling?

Also what's a FPC?

Thanks, had a look, but doubt it'll worry me since my bike was a late 08, and we don't get much rain her in California, and when we do I'm in the car, laddie! :oonyack

Fuel Pump Controller - Left hand side of the tank under the panel;)
Not on the HP. Well, not the HP2 E.

Try, the rear top of tank under the central panel. :thumb

And as to shortening the sidestand, if you cut any out can I have it - I need to extend mine :D

If you use Woody's replacement stand bracket, he's angled to give a the bike a more upright stance. Particularly useful if you're using an 18" rear :thumb2

Explained in the handbook, but rear shock has ride height adjustment and the front forks have a corresponding scribe line in so it's easier to match the front when dropping the forks through the yokes. BMW advise dropping the front and rear equally, but some have just dropped the front to sharpen the steering a little.

Biggest advantage in dropping it is being able to get your feet on the floor ;)
