hi folks,back in feb decided that i wanted a 1150 gs so after looking about found the very one! not even having sat on one never mind riding one handed over the cash and rode away! what a suprise i had install! now I've had big bikes of all sorts since passing test back in 76 (xs 1100/cb900/gpz900/tlr1000)and a few more but can honestly say the gs and I became best mates after only a few miles. I have never ridden a bike that felt so easy and relaxing to ride after such a short time. even went long way home and it was pouring down!
now the problem> despite the multitude of plus points, the only let down seems to be the lack of horses under the saddle. only 22000mls on clock and bog standard except for k&n.
have heard a lot about the 1200 being streets ahead of the 1150 in all departments but is it true?
should i spend a few quid on y piece/can/chip/anything else i've missed?
or should i put the money towards a 1200 couple or three years newer?
any thoughts??
