my headers are really corroded and pitted badly, i try,d wire brushin em and solvents to bring em back to some resemblance of what they were but to no avail, was thinking of going down the matt black route

Get some exhaust wrap and cover up , you will be ok for long time

Enamelled black headers can look dead smart, if they fit in with the rest of the bike.

Matt finish.....smooth as a baby's botty.....don't even think about taking a brush to them or it will instantly turn into a rat bike

Can't remember who had it done to dig up a photo, but a very different and classy look

I remember Mike O had his headers done the last pic I saw of his bike it looked like the ceramic coating hadn't lasted too well
