this is still great fun and pure motorcycling.

when was the last time you were flat out on the tank down hill and nearly reaching 65mph whilst having to turn the fuel tap on to reserve !!!!

Ha! that made me smile and brought back memories of flogging an AP50 down a North Wales hill doing EXACTLy that in 1978. Well, I say that, I think I was pushing 45mph though, not 65 like you big flash boys with your 185cc and all that........

Lovely bike, looks like it's in mint condition. They thrive on being used!
Have you joined the ROC forum?

A Unique motorbike (well apart from the other 99 :D ) You could bring it down to the Classic Weekend at the end of June. I hope to lead a ride out around the north Cornish coast on mine for Classic M/C enthusiasts :beerjug:

A very nice gentleman agreed to sell me this and even delivered it on Tuesday.

It complements the Z1-B, Black Bomber, T3 California and R90/6 very nicely. I'm hoping to collect something British next week just to even things up! :D

I feel as if I've seen that recently around here... bloody gorgeous! you lucky dog :thumb

I've been looking for an old British bike for a while now since regretting selling my Matchless G9 a few years back. I wanted something a bit different than the usual run of the mill Triumph's, BSA's and Norton's - common as muck y'know!;)

Picked this beauty up today. It's a 1950 Royal Enfield 350 Model G. The chap I bought it from remembered riding pillion on it at the age of nine. Just three owners from new, it's never been outside Bideford until today. There was a tear in his eye as we drove away. :tears

Haven't a clue what it is, but it's from the Shuttleworth collection.
That's a Scott BTW circa 1928, two stroke water cooled. In the thirties won the IOM TT three years consecutive years. I've a 1959 Scott flying squirrel; is there anyone out there who shares my interest and can advise?

I guess it would be easier to restore one at a time, All CBX1000's

Wrote off my new G5 back in 1986 so last year acquired an identical full nut & bolt restoration (after having some liquid refreshment :D) None of the cam problems which affected many of these bikes although it's low miles and I will probably only add about 1000 miles annually.
