Definition of a classic?

At the Manx GP this year the classic racing included a post classic class which included Suzuki GSXR's (cut off date 1985) racing against T150 tridents - now that is stretching it a bit! - they're not exactly scott flying squirrels now are they - as for the 20 year old Africa twin I wouldn't like to come between a man and his dreams! if the marque lives on after production ceases and people are willing to keep them alive they'll all be classics.

I've got a trip planned next year after I retire from my day job ( 30 days to go !)
And this bike and the GSA will be going along if I get sorted in time

looks lovely i do have a soft spot for an africa twin i owned one for 3 years and did feel it could do with more power for touring but great bikes as anyone who has owned one would tell you

Dominator 99

I gave my mate a lift to Ballymena this morning so that he could pick up his 'new' bike - a 1963 Norton Dommie 99. I had a few miles on it when we got home, it really is a lovely bike to ride. Just as vibey as I remember them although it's 40 years since I last had me leg over one A nice powerful mill which just wants to keep on going although I did have to respect the fact that she's an old lady so backed off at 75
