I just finished this little one on new years eve.

Bought my 1983 GPZ1100 A1 Unitrac in Feb this year, likewise been looking around for ages and finally found a decent complete runner for restoration.
Owned 2 of these years ago, they where only in production for 3 years and where used as a test bed for new technology e.g. anti dive, digital fuel injection, unitrac suspension etc.
Restoration has been started, staying original as much as I can, luckily I have 2 sets of wheels, 2 tanks, side panels, tail piece, but need a fairing, then I can have an original paint set and a custom set.

that lookes like the daytona winning ducati of Cycle editor Cooke Neilson![]()
I guess it can be called a classic now.
Me too, I had a sit on an RD350a at Shurburn Café last summer, it felt like a toybut what i really want is a 350B![]()

After a long wait, I have finally managed to find a RD250. It's 1978 with 16k miles, sold new by Les Smale the local dealer and with 2 owners, both old school friends of mine.
It runs perfectly but has suffered a little from being stored in a workshop from 1981 until a couple of years ago, when it was put back on the road. It will need tidying. Total original except the headlight which is from a later model, it's getting hard to find these with the original frame/engine/keys.
These were the biggest and baddest bikes you could put L plates on at the time. I tore around Devon leaving a blue fog behind me and generally riding like the lunatic 17 year old I wasI guess it can be called a classic now.
was torn between this bike and a superdream, I bought the Honda but traded in the following year for a Suzuki TS250 trials style bike... a lot of dosh for an apprentice toolmaker in them days
Here is my 1955 Matchless G3LS only covered 310 miles since full rebuild.
I may put her up for sale soon due to leaving UK.
Not sure if its a classic but rare-ish maybe !!

i periodically lust after the RD400, but what i really want is a 350B![]()
