My father and myself toured Germany together many years ago, him on this fine example, me on mine

It then spent over twenty years stripped down in my attic before being put back together again, as you see it here. It's all absolutely original ....

Although I frequently forget the names of my own kids, I never forget hearing a GT550 in about 1980.... I'd love to just hear that one run.

Gorgeous !

When I was about 14 or 15 I bought a third share in a GT250 to ride on the slag heaps and waste land near my home

The law had just restricted learners to 125cc bikes and there were dirt cheap 250s for sale everywhere
