First frost up in here in Scotland so time to put the beast inside!!

Not going to keep it outside whenni have nice warm garage to use. Will still be using it during the winter when off work. How on earth does it qualify to be called "The Beast" if it goes indoors at the first sign of frost? "Delicate little flower" I could see.![]()

Is my favourite track by ACDC regularly played very loud...the opening guitar riff makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time.Hells Bells!
That's what the very well designed OEM crash bars are there to prevent. The 1200LC is a phenomenal machine, very well balanced and head and shoulders above the older oil heads for offroad ablity.I wouldn't think twice about riding down there on my 640 Enduro, but not on my 1200GS as I would be deafened by the till ringing in my head from Jefferies parts dept![]()
Possibly, I prefer confident in knowing my limits.Barmy,
Is what you could say about someone who buys 13-20K's worth of bike thats had many hours and many euro's thrown at it to develop its offroad ability to only every pootle round on the tarmac and then change it after a couple of years having done only a few thousand a year....a few scratches and dings are irrelevant on a bike that will do 12K a year, in all weathers, all year, for as longs as its viable to do so at which point it'll be retired and replaced with something else.more money than sense
Done.Get them forks checked !
That it is....Rudland Rigg - Road of Stones

I've just twigged why your username and avatar seemed familiar...Just the thought of all that money balancing preciously on two wheels over something other than pristine asphalt makes my blood run cold.

You sir.....are nuts.
Glad you made it back still alive.
There is no way on god's green earth I'd do what you did and riding a lump of metal and plastic is little compared to the risk you took.
Respect to you.
