R80G/S Fully Restored

Hi All,

Fully restored R80G/S...

A superb job was done included:

Gearbox rebuild
Twin plug/ Gas flowed/ Installation of High compression pistons (supplied by myself)
Front Shock rebuild
Engine, hubs, rear bevel bead blasted
Powder coating engine/crash bars
Wheel rebuilds with S/steel
All stainless steel nuts and bolts
Complete front brake rebuild
Complete Carb rebuild

Runs like a dream, very smooth & loads of torque.

As for overall price of this project about £8000- but completly mint inc. electrics.! (Initial cost/parts & jim Cray work)

However, pleasure of riding and pride of ownership- priceless.

One redeeming factor is that it has been valued at about £6000 by Carole Nash.

Never going to make money on a project like this but its been great fun and riding it is fantastic...
