Always helpfull to add the month of production, ;)

they change things throughout the build year

two types of fixing , with top hats or without

sounds like the top hats are stuck, i cut mine of with a cold chisel and then replaced all

thanks for the reply its the steel bearing I cannot remove it rotates but must be off set due to wear still scratching my head

I may hacksaw the stand off and replace it if im unsucessful next week . thanks

The bush goes through the frame, it pushes in / out in a vertical or horizontal direction , it does not get pushed in / out like a pistion

If that makes sense , some say it has a hook hole in it to aid removal, bit i think i just levered mine out

The top hats will nip the bush if i recall, I had replacements just in case

Ignore the above, I finally got into the repair data,

Once the bolt is removed, the side stand will pull off

What will be stopping will be the top hats, or crud / build up which makes the gap to the other faces to small ,

I treated the top hats as a consumable, and snipped them/ cut them off

Once off the side stand can be levered off and the bearing drifted out.
