In view of the stunning weather we are having for our summer I'd just like to highlight that Rugged Roads are offering FatFeet for the BMW R1150GS and GSA, and the R1200GS and GSA to stop you getting that sinking feeling.
I have manufactured these from powder coated aluminium and stainless steel fixings so once fitted you can forget it's there.

Now if you did one for the 1150GSA with a bit more depth to it (ie thicker), so the GSA stood horizontally up just a tad more, espcially when panniers are on, that would be great (about an ice hockey pucks depth would do )

Oops - you're quite right - the R1150GS Fatter Foot IS £15.00 and NOT £17.00 - many apologies

We send out all orders using a professional carrier company - DPD (previously Parceline). We just pass through the charge from the carriers, we do not add to it.

The postage price is applicable no matter how many items you order, whether you order 1 item or 10 items - it will still only be £6.95 for delivery to a UK address. It is also an overnight signed for service.

All of the items on the Rugged Roads web site are physically in stock so will be despatched same day or next day for guaranteed overnight delivery. It's still a cheaper P&P charge than Touratech and at least you know you'll be receiving your order within a couple of days rather than weeks.....

Great minds think alike - we are currently looking at manufacturing a taller version for just this reason. It will be around the 25mm overall height region - just depends what material we use for the spacer

if you posted smaller items recorded, it would cost about £2.50. usually arrive next day and your covered up to about £30.

On a related issue, should you start producing a 'thicker' foot pad (as requested for the 1150GSA), please give a thought to overproducing for those that may care to retrofit

An even fatter foot is going into production for the R1150s.

Soon as we can get our hands on an F650 or F800 we can measure up for some items.

If anyone with a 650/800 and is in or around the New Forest area and fancies lending us their bike for a few days, can you PM me and we can get a full range of stuff sorted
