Sidi Adventure Boots

I have some Sidi B2 Goretex boots and they are Ok, but get very cold toes this time of year, can't wear thick socks as they are too tight, fine with regular socks though.
Are these any better at keeping toes warm, thicker toe cap or summit?

Just got back from picking up my 'Adventure' boots.

After over 20 years of wearing nothing but MX boots I can honestly say they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn, leagues ahead of my Flexforce and Tech 8's that I normally wear :thumb2

They are slightly shorter than a MX boot, but not dramatically so, reckon they will be easily as protective as a MX boot - I really, really like them so far.

I'll report back when I get back from using them on the Calum's Rd trip - looking dead promising so far though :)

So far 4000 miles, snow, torential rain, heat and a couple of offs and they are the business - Im liking them a lot :thumb2

Sidi Adventure Boot Height

I like the look of these boots. Can any of you who have bought them tell me how high they are - floor to top measurement? I want a tall boot and these do look tall, but the Sidi web site is a bit short on detail:)

Can you post pics of the condition when you get home? Just to see how they survive spills etc.

Collected my SIDI's yesterday from HelmetCity in Tatsfield!

GREAT guys, service and stock.... very impessed.

Still have to do the obvious report back... however these are the first boots that I hve shoved my big size 12's into that felt good right away. Comfort is unbelievable (to not quote Kkkken in Fish called Wanda)

One word to describe them........

WOW!!!

Thanks to Martin for sorting me out and tempting me to all those lids, jackets and the like (bastid) :thumb

Best boots Ive owned, period.

Practically lived in them for 4 weeks & 6,000 miles.

They have been through every weather possible and my tootsies have remained warm an dry throughout.

Have a feeling they may become the new Twat Suit footwear for GS ridders but what the feck, like the Twat Suit they do theirjob exceedingly well :thumb2

GS rider here. Best boot you've ever worn wearer soon. No silly suit, but I did get some Klim trousers to house the snake... :D

Just got a dirty boot fetish :mmmm

The pics show that apart from the dirt, they are in very good condition. If they didn't leak either then they seem perfect for touring.

I've taken a pair off sidi's stock list, must say I've been waiting for a boot like this for years. I had to retire my ancient AStar Vectors which were very comfortable but leaky/smelly (from the water contaminated liner) and had useless soles for slippy conditions, they'd eventually split the placcy coverings and formed little pools for water to collect in making a leaky boot even more water retentive . Not sure why its taken boot manufacturers so long to cotton on to waterproofing this style boot but top marks to sidi for leading the way.

Can you tell me if the fit/sizing of these Adventure boots are the same as the Sidi Courier?

Cheers

I am certain that the drying instuctions dont include drying them in the hob!:blast

I ended up with the same as my normal shoe size.

That's my problem. I tried some couriers on today as they didn't have any adventures (but could order them) I'm an 8 (42) they were too tight and the 9 (43's) were too big really. They might be ok with an insole in though. Just want to know if the adventure's are likely to be the same fit as the Couriers before I order some?

Cheers

I had (still have) a pair of Sidi Courier's in Euro size 44 (UK 9.5, USA 10). I then bought a pair of Adventure's in the same size.

I'd say the sizes are pretty near identical, the only real difference being that the Couriers took a little 'running in', whereas the Adventure's are supple from the word go.

My only complaint about the Adventure's is that at first they were very squeaky - someone said 'like a bag of mad mice' - but fix'able with a little DC4 silicone grease :augie

They look smashing, and so are getting added to the list of "things I'll buy when I start spending money again".

I was going to get a pair at the Excel show at £240 but no 8.5 and 9 too big:blast

God i was p1ssed of. Most of my boots have been Sidi i have the Canyon goretex at the moment and there very good the sizing is a bit differnt from other Sidis

They look brill and Sidi quality
