Best boots Ive owned, period.

Practically lived in them for 4 weeks & 6,000 miles.

They have been through every weather possible and my tootsies have remained warm an dry throughout.

Have a feeling they may become the new Twat Suit footwear for GS ridders but what the feck, like the Twat Suit they do theirjob exceedingly well :thumb2

Andres

How come you've got them on the stove? Anything you're not telling us?? :)

I was going to get a pair at the Excel show at £240 but no 8.5 and 9 too big:blast

God i was p1ssed of. Most of my boots have been Sidi i have the Canyon goretex at the moment and there very good the sizing is a bit differnt from other Sidis

They look brill and Sidi quality

Why don't you try contacting Martin at Helmetcity.co.uk...? He did a really good deal for me and I found his pricing to be the best?

Can you share the pricing he gave? Every internet site seems to be quoting the same £285

Well I think you've convinced me thank you .... will be shopping for one pair of Sidi Adventure boots :clap

Unless one of you now comes along and says "I have a pair and they're crap" :augie

For those that already have them, how do these compare to a pair of motorcross boots? I'm looking at something to be able to go green laning in as well as regular winter use, is the protection up to it? or am I likely to need something a bit more solid for real off road use?

For green laning I'd say they are possibly better than MX boots as they have a proper 'comando' sole which offers a modicum of grip. The problem with MX boots is the smooth sole which can be tricky when the going gets muddy/slippery.

IMO protection is as good as a good MX boot (similar to my Tech 8's?) but probably not up to Tech 10 or similar standards.

I've had a pair of Sidi Adventure boots for two winters now and they're an awesome bit of kit. My feet have always been warm and never got wet. There's some great protection(just as good as mx boots i'd say) and i got mine for a bargaining price at the NEC show of £145!
i reckon they'll last at least 10 years if i look after them properly.:thumb2

Thanks Andres, just the info I hoped to hear. These are on the 'save up and buy' list.

I bought the Sidi Rain last year, as I thought they where made for rain, but no, I'm soaking wet after half an hour in rain, so I just ordered the Adventure boots, hopefully there waterproof!

I can really say that SIDI's got a winner here!

From the first time I put my foot into the boot and they fit like a pair of gloves, to walking around Gatwick and Dubai airport with them (I was 5kg overweight on my flight back to SA and had to remove them from the panniers and wear them) - I have found them as comfy as my normal shoes.

In my opinion they have retained the bottom protection and shin protection of a MX boot - yet added the flexibility and comfort of a road-riding boot to the ankle and upper half....

Protection wise - well waterproof is without a doubt one major feature, but a bit of bad sand riding and a topple over when the front wheel decided to do it's own thing, caused my right foot to come off the peg and got pinned underneath the right pannier facing backwards.
I had a helluva fright but nothing wrong with my foot and the boot did exactly what it was designed for - protected my leg & foot.

Very highly recommended :thumb2

Well gone and done it!!

Just got off the phone with Helmet City and a very nice chap. £256 including delivery should be here on Tuesday as I missed the post today.

Just hope they fit my feet as well as some of you have been saying they do :D
