Siebenrock - not shipping to UK

Well i e mailed Siebenrock to say i wanted to add another item to the order so that i got the free shipping deal on this as well , and the came back saying that my parts had been shipped out today. Bit of a coincidence , still be interested to see what they say when i ask for the tracking info. Must be an age thing not believing a word that any company tells me ?

Just goes to show they sent me the tracking number

The whole point of the single digital market was to avoid that! Along with abolishing roaming charges etc.

Big news, the 4 UK mobile companies have said, they will not be re-introducing roaming charges. So one off the list :)

I ordered a few bits and bobs from Motoren Israel on 16th December. Order auto confirmed but I heard nothing further until yesterday - when I was informed that DHL had allowed the parcel to get so wet that it had to be returned to sender...
No criticism of Motoren, who have now repackaged and re-sent, but less than stellar performance by DHL.

Given that Brexit has now kicked in I've got no idea what will happen at the border re (already paid!) VAT never mind import duties/fees. Anybody know for sure - I can find no useful confirmed information? And that's assuming that DHL actually manage to deliver it...
I await developments with interest.

Parcel has just turned up. No further payment required so I'm a happy bunny again.

Steve , it appears that Hermes also -as an example -is back to normal and accepting parcels to Europe...😂

It’s the end of the line now, buying single items from the EU. Customs charges alone between the EU and Uk are £100 per delivery.
Today I spent 5 minutes selling our products, and 5 hours doing the paperwork. The goods are (seafood) is still sitting in the transport depot waiting for T firms and Health Certificate. It should be in France for tomorrow, but looks like it will be Wednesday now. I have had to register my company in France for Vat, to allow us to submit returns monthly instead of at the port of departure. It’s a total ballache, and I can’t be arsed with it.
So much for cutting down on red tape!
Cheers
Dave

What? You expected less red tape if we left the single market?? Really?

Don't get me wrong I have a great deal of sympathy for you. (mainly because I know what a T-Forms and Health Certificates actually are)
