Seen this for sale and wondered if it belonged to anyone on here. Was hoping to maybe get some of it's history before I pull the trigger.

It's a Glasgow registration mark, so it would have been first supplied by Douglas Park Motorrad in East Kilbride, if that helps. :nenau

That might explain the 29k miles in 18 months... who wouldn't want to ride and ride and ride around the beautiful* Scotland; planning to do the Scottish 500 myself, just wonder whether it will be on this or my GTR1400. Would rather take the GSA to be honest so I can get off road and wild camp!

*beautiful in the scenic and political sense.

I believe it's Nuttys. He's quietly taking delivery of a 2016 spec KTM 1290 SA at the weekend. But sshhhh !!!

Impressive and will be nicely run in. £11k sounds about right for TE spec with a years warranty.

Must be the only blue one that wasn't a cancelled order. :D

Mine is blue by the way. :thumb2

I thought that weren't too bad a price... not scared of the higher miles like most especially with good condition, service history and warranty (obviously prefer less miles).

That price is considerably less than a dealer has just allowed me as PX on my 14 plate GSA TE albeit with 20K less miles but when i say considerable I mean considerable

I wondered why he was putting a GSA top box on the XR, explains it all

Hi, was in Punta Arenas in Chile in February this year and took a photo of 3 GSs that were from the UK. The bike you mention was one of them (cant work out how t upload a photo yet!). The three bikes had been shipped down and were off on a 24000 epic ride to Alaska! The panniers were marked as being sponsored/supported by Douglas Park Motorrad so I suspect they can give you all the info you would want. Regards, Paul

Well that certainly puts a new spin on fully documented history.
