...I got back from a long trip (4 weeks) overseas yesterday, so took the bike out this morning. It was fine for the first 15 miles. Then, when pulling out for an overtake, the engine seemed to stutter, alomst like it wanted to stall - but it didn't.
If I cruised or accelerated gently it was fine, but if I accelerated hard from low revs the bike did this weird stuttering.
The range was down to 40 miles so I was wondering if it was simply running out of fuel early. So I filled up but the issue was still there...
On the ride home (about 25 miles), it seemed that it was slowly getting better and becoming harder to make the bike do it. The only conclusion I can reach is that leaving the bike with only a small amount of fuel in an Adv tank (ie lots of space to vapourize) means it takes less time for the fuel to go bad. In this case 4 weeks!
Tomorrow, I will take the bike for a thorough thrashing and see where it's at but I wondered if anyone else had experienced this?
Thoughts?

So they're going to have to keep the bike a while they work out what's wrong with it.
