My bike is being serviced and I'll pick it up on Saturday. Just got a call from Service confirming a few questions I had asked, thanks for that!!! Will wait until Saturday to give full feddback, but....is there any discount for Ukgser members??? :augie :augie :augie

I asked the same question a while back re: discount, also asked about loyalty schemes, I am not sure you will get the answer you are looking for! However, you will be offered a FREE bacon roll. I will be interested to see what you think of the service. I have just used Bahnstormer for the first time and the service was EXCELLENT!
 
Hi guys, sorry for the delayed response. I have been away for a couple of days.

Sorry I missed you on Saturday Nico, let me know when you are passing again. I always try to give ukgser members a little bit extra when they come in to SLM, so when i can thyey get a bacon roll when they are in for a 6K service. For a 12K service however it’s a sausage bap, for an 18K service it’s a sausage and bacon bap, and for the mighty 24K service it’s a whopping gut-busting bacon, egg and sausage bap !!!:clap

Saturdays only remember, but in the week it’s free coffee or tea !!

Well, mine was the mighty 24k service and I have also added some accessories. The service was excellent and the bike now runs very smoothly - FIVE STARS FOR THAT !!!!

BUT....frankly speaking I was a bit disappointed as I paid for the fitting of the spotlights (purchased elsewhere) almost as much as I paid for the service! Maybe it was a misunderstanding and I should have asked before :confused: For the some money I would have easily put the BMW spotlights! Overall the job was well done but I still have a problem with the autoswitch: the lights sometimes turn off randomly while riding. I guess it is a technical issue related to the can-bus and I will mention this to Tony next time I come over.

Thanks for the positive feedback and glad the team looked after you. Getting these things fitted can take some time, and if you have any problems with the switch do let the team know so they can sort it out. Do pop by for the “Whopper” when you can, it will be good to see you. Alaric
