Had a phone call that a set of wheels with my name on are ready for collection. I'll post pics and prices when I get back to clarify once and for all the Supermoto saga.

Got 'em. £600.00 exactly. And they come with a 200 page instruction book!

I'm still chasing mine. Which dealer was that? Vines have been unsure about pricing.

I got mine from BVM today, put them on,and have just been for the maiden voyage.Feck me sideways, what a piece of kit it is now.Turn quickly is a bit of an understatement I think, and as for that front brake,I think a bag of spuds on the back seat is needed, can't wait to get the disc and pads bedded in properly. :beerjug:

Have they sent the wrong wheels?should it not be alloy with an extra disc :thumb

I forgot to say,but both my tyres had 60psi in them when I checked them.I guess they just blow the bead out of them, and leave them with that pressure in when they put them in the box.It could make for an interesting first ride if you don't check them first

Been out playing again today, can't wait to get it up to speed good and proper, you won't believe how much it changes everything about how the bike behaves.

I've had change of heart now,and ordered a full Remus system for it now you can get the power to the ground without it skipping all over the shop.

Please watch this space where to send the flowers to :beerjug:

Do I sense the need for an HP2 track day coming on

Oh yes yes yes, just been thinking about a UKGSER track day. Has there been a specific GS one before?

errrr, black and round and a million times more grip than Tk's or the kroos.I've had a couple of slips on them, but it's always the same with new tyres, but it's all looking pretty good so far,and they're not soft enought to rip to bits on the sides,so they should last a while as well.10/10 so far :D The front brake however,is like hitting a feckin wall

Sorry to show my ignorance, but do they supply a bracket for the new caliper position?

Shep

Caliper mounting point on fork leg has 2 mounting positions cast into it.

Picked up my wheels today, looking forward to a blast over the weekend. :D

And with the Remus fitted it sounds really................. :thumb

A UKGSER track day's a good idea. I phoned BMW yesterday to ask about BMW track days and was told non had been planned this year. I did an open track day at Brands last Monday & the GS was good fun, but 98% of the other bikes were track day specials.
I've got 17" ST wheels front & back on my 1200GS mega motard, with Pirellie Scorpion Sync tyres which gave great grip on the track.
