I couldn't tell and it was no where near as bad as yours. They said it is mostly left side for some reason Cost £28 (incl vat) for a new one (1150)

It doesn't smell of peterol - I'm guessing the heat of the engine is evaporating it before i get to sniff. But then what's the liquid? It can't be oil - I can't see how oil would get there???
