Downloaded it, and installed. Works a treat with Media Player 11.
I'll just download the rest at me leisure and then watch the lot on the weekend.
Snoops, keep it up. The computer bollox'll get sorted out eventually. If you were averse to youtube because of the quality, what about smugmug
dvd quality. UKGSER has its own smugmug account, don't suppose there's any chance you could upload them there for the masses
Even YouTube quality is better than no pictures or nothing at all!
As I said earlier, some of us don't have administrator rights over work PCs so cannot load extra programmes.

i have tried to view 2 of them now.
VLC didn't work - for whatever reason.
d/L the k-lite codec pack and 'open with' windows media player - works perfectly

Since a common solution has been found and might suppress the bitching I'll keep them coming. It takes a bit of time re-compressing the movies and working out which goes where on the write-up.

I have'nt even tried to download the videos because I know it won't work for me, but well done Snoopy, I hope you're recovering well. I'm amazed that with all the other stuff going on, you had the time and patience to make all these videos in the first place.

When and if Snoopy finishes this I've no problem stripping his ride report posts out into a separate thread and cleaning them up with the proper file extensions. It's not worth doing yet as they might change again
Please carry on Snoops and keep sticking the odd photo in for the readers without movie visibility

True, the reason i suggested smugmug, was because you can embed the video's here, there better quality, and if it could be done, UKGSER has a smugmug account where they could be placed. It was asuggestion for people in the same situation as you.

Good on you Snoops - ignore the old ladies who seem to think you went on your trip specifically to provide them with armchair entertainment ( and are actually getting shitty about it
) - I'm looking forward to the rest of the report. FWIW - I've had no problems viewing any of the files ( even on Linux! ) although I think a little more compression would help some of the slower PC's sync audio streams with video properly.Pluck
