Its risen to 4.5 degrees on the west coast today...up 7 on yesterday

Still got snow down here, but it is melting slightly.

The council actually sent a snow-plough down my lane today, that's only 5 days since it was covered in snow and I've been out in the car the last three days running. When it's gone tomorrow they'll probably send the gritter down....

Couldn't get to Buxton today as the road was closed just above Leek and the snow ploughs were out. Some fresh snow but not much, but the wind had picked up and was drifiting the existing snow across the road enough to block it.

Temps hovered between zero and 5 degrees and the snow left on roofs , driveways and lawns is disappearing here
