So so tempted...

Fantastic 🍻. Thank you 👍. Thoroughly enjoyed that 😍

PS. I rode my Interceptor with standard suspension for a few months then fitted YSS Mike and it was a revelation, even though stock was acceptable. Reckon the Bear would be the same 👍👍

Have you seen these
Wouldnt want to vouch for the quality but they look cool

Where is the battery located?…looks great btw.
Good question. I had to look at the picture to check, as I know it has one.

It's under saddle, behind the upper shock mount in the picture. Glass Mat so it's on its side.

I have recently parted with a petrol blue Bear 650 having covered just under 5000 miles.
Mainly on two trips to Europe.
1. Good points.
The engine is a peach, so so well fuelled and torquey low down
Light clutch and excellent gearbox
I added the custom brown seat. Most comfortable seat ever.
Buy the extras directly from India, arrive quickly and much cheaper
Soft Panniers are a real bargain and with a couple of extra straps to the grab rail will carry lots more than indicated
I added bar risers, 25mm. All you need is two spacers and two longer bolts.
The built in satnav screen works well once sussed out. It can drop connection but once you realise you need to return to the satnav screen before it times out it's fine. Won't work with old phones though.
I swapped the rear shocks for yss early on as found the OE hard. People say they do soften up with miles.
A cheap pair of metal Handguards from amazon fitted fine

80mpg / 200 miles + to a tank

I also added the tall screen which isn't tall but adds 10mph of extra comfort

Handles very well on tight mountain roads aided by smooth torque
Only sold as wanted the R12 G/S

Ps, felt lighter than its given weight to me. Aided by a reasonable seat height

Do you have a link for the handguards please.
