Currently selling my 800 gs , and have just been down to the dealer to get its running in service done and have seen a hp2 megamto which has tempted me , originaly i had intended to buy ktm 990adv or another 1200 gsa but this has got me thinking .

Only issues for me as i will use it to commute into london are , that i need the following to make it viable

Some form of top box or plate to adapt my stubby metal mule box

Handguards and heated grips

A screen of some discription

Have done a few searches but not come up with much also your opinion on its sutability for commuting would be a help .

Thanks

Keith

The Isotta screen is the one to go for, now available through Wunderlich as well, if you can't get a quick delivery through Wunderlich, try Daid Harris at Cross Smithfield Ltd - 07788 424563.

Heated grips are a £300+ retro fit item from the dealer's, but I've got Symtec heated grips on mine, which work a treat -

Welcome to the world of the HP2 :thumb

Having commuted in to London quite a bit on my Enduro, I've found that a Remus will negate the need for a horn and keep traffic out of the way :green gri

I commute on my HP2E every day into London from Essex and can't complain. Bit of wind on the chest has never done any man harm :D

As for heated grips I fitted mufs and £20 wrap around heated grips on mine for the winter which works as well. Depends how ugly you want to make it look :augie

These things come off the moment my hands can with stand the cold again with standard winter gloves and mine is used not only as a toy but as a bike :thumb
