My mistake,it’s an R100 out of an 81 rt,with long oil cooler tube.
40k miles.
I’m looking at £450 minimum,as the crank / rods and cam are worth that to me if I need one down the line.

Might be able to do one of the mono short motors a bit cheaper but I’d need to strip them first

Mono short motor even better for my purposes I already have a few mono engine parts that I could potentially use.

I find you guys, along with other forum re-build notables such @nicholsonj2252 to be remarkable in your knowledge and skillsets that can transform these odd parts into renewed, functional machines. I realise that you might think it all to be straightforward - but that's even more a sign of your knowledge and ability.

Whatever you studied or wherever you worked, however you found your way onto this path - by circumstance or design - I'm sure that I speak for many on this forum in offering you my respect.

(I do wonder about the collective possibilities if you were to create a group that included German mechanics of your ilk who share your passion and knowledge, as well as access to parts and other resources...)

Very flattering but I’ve had the privilege of visiting both the @mikeyboy and @Gelandestrasse establishments and I’m not in the same league as those guys.

They’re both premier division and I’m in the bottom half of the Vauxhall league

They have both very kindly helped me with my projects. Advice and parts.

Ok, the 90/6 is sold as a donor for a customers poorly bike.
The demise of his old bike means we have the correct front wheel/ brake etc for the 60/5
So the only parts missing of note from this bike are the carbs and lever perches.
Engine turns with the kicker,gearbox selects all 4 gears
Fantastic project.
Tis a US bike with no docs so will need a bit of faffing to register.
