To lessen the pain can someone recommend a nice place to stay close-ish. Please. Current option is to stay with the family

I've stayed at Llanerch vineyard in the past, comfortable rooms, nice atmosphere and very good restaurant, easy access from M4 Jn 34 too, recommended Also nearby is the Vale resort, both an easy taxi ride from Pontyclun.

Easy on and off mway resto ok
Gym is good and a pool

The house is just over the river Ely from Lanelay Hall hotel. Not sure where it’s being held as yet

There is a Premier Inn by the Royal Glamorgan hospital about a mile from Lanelay Hall if you want something cheaper.
