Wanted Sony PlayStation PS4 wanted

With my son and I now being a few miles apart, I’d quite like to continue some coop gaming evenings with him.

Does anyone have a no longer being used PS4 of any variant that they could part with? If so, let me know!

Ebay is full of them.

If you have a local CEX store, they stock second hand ones too. Go for the Slim version. Quieter and lower power consumption.

I was in CEX this morning in fact - I think that’s what gave me the idea. Didn’t act on it so thought I’d ask on here just in case. EBay I’m never sure about - a lot of PS4’s are well used and sound like a jet engine by now!

The slim models are very quiet. Even when old.

CEX gives a warranty so I think you're good.

Still have my white slim PS4 I bought in 2017. works a treat. Easy to upgrade it with an SSD so it runs a lot quicker and can store more games.

A PS4 is great as Blu-ray player and for hosting all your media apps like sky go, netflix, YouTube etc.

It's only downside is that it's only 1080p.

The PS4 pro supports 4K.

I have the pro myself, but based on the above comments I'd be open to a slim for the boy. I'm fairly practical so I'm sure that I could manage a replacement drive and thermal paste renewal if required.
