Hello all,
Well, many moons ago I used to post inane dribble on this forum, well, it looks like my time for more pointless posts has come again!

Back in 2002 I owned a brand spanking new R1150GS. The one that pissed petrol all down your trouser leg as you was riding. The best form of Russian roulette you're ever likely to play with a motorcycle on a boiling hot day with a boiling hot engine. Needless to say, I survive without the need for a full refit of artificial skin

Fast forward 12 years and I'm back! I test rode the new 2015 R1200GS TE yesterday, and I must say, what a beast! The difference 12 years makes! The thing pulled like a train on amphetamines. Stuck to the road like shit to a blanket. Felt like sitting in a warm moist glove, such was the fit... Yep, I think it's fair to say I'm Hooked!

Anyway. Deposit to be paid today for a Alpine White with black engine. Spot lights, top box, aluminium oil plug thingy, mud flap extender and alarm.

I just know this will be the beginning of a lovely relationship. Added bits will be slung on her when the bank manager has had time to recover

So I best get off my hairy crack and make a donation to this forum. Especially as I will be using it for much sought after advice and heads up on aftermarket goodies.

Does Steptoe still frequent this forum? I hope so!
