Cherry soon to be popped

Watching this thread to see how you get on, Wess.

I think a V85TT might be my last bought-from-new big bike.
You could do far worse. The V85tt has a great blend of ergonomics, power and handling, the Guzzi quirkiness/character, relative simplicity, style and exclusivity (not every man and his dog have one like a certain other marque) :D

Not off to the best start, one of the pannier latches disassembled on the way home. Fortunately there are two other latches that kept the lid shut but they are not locked. The retaining bolts are very short and have a cross head not hex head so you can't get it very tight, and no loctite used. It's back together but I might get a longer bolt and use some loctite.

Also, just went through the paperwork and the printout from the DVLA registration has the wrong address. Emailed A&D a few minutes ago, so let's see if they take ownership of getting this sorted.

and it looks like my old bike will be languishing in the A&D showroom over winter. After 8 months, they still have the bike
No price adjustment in that time.

Not easy being a motorcycle dealer. That’s a chunk of change tied up there. Or maybe it’s on a sticking plan that charges interest monthly.

what did they credit you in px ?
pm if it is secret .

£5k which was more than I expected as Sally offered a lot less a few months earlier against a bike at RRP. Fortunately, she was absent and Stu was more generous considering the bike was £1500 under RRP. £900 of that was from Moto Guzzi.
