Sorting crash bar scratches

If your mate didn't offer to pay for the damage there and then... he isn't a mate.

He did so not a problem. Used some wet n dry and wd40 on it today and all good so thanks guys for your help.
I think he managed to 'place it down' rather than dropping it as barely any damage. The only part that has the scratches was the bottom of the cylinder head crash bar of around 4 inches. The daft bat pulled his hamstring so was probably trying to hold on to it to be fair. It's only a lump of metal afterall and he's ok so all that matters.
