Just had my bike in at SLM for its 6000 mile service. They appear to have done an excellent job, - the bike was returned immaculately clean, and they lent me a courtesy bike.
Cost? - £130, which I didn't think was too bad to keep the warranty going.

They generally look after me very well - Les is the Service manager and great at explaining bits to a non techie......Mat is the SoB who sold me the bike that has eaten up my cash but is a good bloke really!

SLM SERVICING ETC

Bought my bike new from them in Nov 02 & had three services to keep up the warrenty etc. Struck up a good relationship with the staff & often call in for nothing more than a chat & a coffee. I cant praise this shop highly enough.

agreed - they are a good bunch. i bought my first GS from them, all they looked after me excellently when it got written off. i'll be taking my new gs down there for its 12000 mile service next month...

SLM are a great bunch. Bought my GS when they first opened. I have had it serviced there each time except for once, when I took it to Tun Wells. I'd always take it back to SLM cos their service, atmosphere and Jamie's bacon sarnies.
