South west meets

As a newbie and living in Dorset by the sea, i was wondering if there were any ridouts, meetings or suchlike planned in the near future, would be nice to meet up etc.Planning personal trips in spring and summer but some local stuff would be great.

RIDE OUTS MEETS

Welcome,come the summer as from April 1st Dont forget the Poole Dream machine Tuesday nights meeting loads of bikes good atmosphere on the quay
1800 until 2200hrs(normal time 6pm to 10pm!!).hopefully get down this year at least once a month from Glos area......

Mmmm Poole quay tues nites, over zealous coppers checking cans etc, not for me anymore,been there done that, got T shirt and seven day wonders..... looking for something else now.....thanks for reply though

In my many visits over the years to the Bike Night at Poole Quay the only Police I have ever seen were over head in their helicopter. I have always found the Bike Nights to have a pleasant atmosphere.

A few of us meet at the Horton Inn on the first Thursday of the month.

BIKE MEETS

Well you did ask about meets,ie Poole etc,hardly ever see the cops there if they are they always park and chat to the guys and gals ye it still is a good night to meet up with friends and like minded people nice to see the "older" guys with the old brit bikes,,

...ditto, same experience, cops v friendly and not taking advantage......and I used to head down there a lot on my SV1000 with race cans, small number plate just to mention a couple of things I might have been pulled for

I've only ever seen a couple of coppers at Poole, mostly on bikes to do PR more than anything else. Always a good night at Poole

I was told the Poole Quay thing was started by a Goldwing rider for Goldwings and the whole thing got taken over and grew out of all proportion.

Still if you must ride a Vegas casino on wheels then you probly deserve it
