SP111 Registration/CN5 Upgrade

Got an SP111 last week, came with CN V5 but I was told I could upgrade to V6 online. Registered and unlocked OK but so far I have had no email confirmation of this and nothing about V6 upgrade.

Do you get the upgrade automatically after registration or do you have to ask for it? I can't find anything on the Garmin website about this.

You need to get an Upgrade cd shipped to you from Garmin (free). This needs to be installed on your PC and when you get to the upgrade/unlock regions wizard this will take you to the Garmin website and the unlock software page to unlock the version 6. Assuming you have already registered your version 5 then the upgrade will show at a cost of 0$ and you will be issued with a new unlock code for your SPIII.

Your original dealer should help you with this - give them a call if you need any clarification - or of course Garmin UK.
