Heading to Plymouth catching the ferry on the 10th July to Santander.
Staying Ribadesella, Ponferrada before heading to Portugal. Stopping at Mogadouro,Salamanca,Zaragoza,
Logrono. And a few places in between the main towns. .
The last 3 days based on the coast for day runs to the Picos and surrounding areas. Hopefully the weather gods are with us. 🤞.
Safe ride guys.
Ps Any places to visit views /
restaurant's etc

For the entire trip or just the three days at the end?

Hi Richard
The main accommodation has onsite evening meals.
Salamanca Restaurant ?
Zaragoza Restaurant ?
Logrono , fantastic place for vino and tapas .
The last 3 nights we are staying at Pasada la vieja Escuela Iglesia .
Done routes on MRA .
Salamanca to Curiel de Duero looks like farm lands and onto Zaragoza.
If any pointers to take .

Hope you’re not veggie ?

From your three day base at the Posada:

For a little tip to the coast check out Comillas - delightful place and the only Gaudi building outside of Catalonia - a Japanese restaurant now I believe.

For a longer ride seek Cervera de Pisuerga, make up your own route there and back but have lunch there - beware of the cider it's stronger than it looks! :)

Ribadesella, spent many hours in the Sidrería Carroceu, always good and have an EN menu too. on the main road, harbour side.

For things to see, the free ViaMichelin website, is pretty good, as it links to the company’s Green Guide books.

Here’s a sample for Ávila:

Failing that, Google ‘Best things to see and do in xxxxx’.
