Speed Camera Detectors

I see even Robert Dyas and Woolies are doing GPS based speed camera detectors now, for only about £79.

Has anyone had any experience of using one of these , (in a car, obviously).

How reliable are they?

I can recommend the excellent DriveSmart. They also run an active forum where their response to questions complaints and suggestions is very quick. Camera updates etc are free for life and the unit is highly configurable. There are also a couple of add ons available if you have concerns about being nabbed by laser guns
