Speed / Revs / Gear Ratio

Is it possible to work out the following if I add my gear ratio into the equation:
I know my speed and gear position - what revs am I doing?
I know my revs and gear position - what speed am I doing?
I have a 08 R1200GS.

Yes...

Yes - not bothered working it out for the GS, but when I had the CS, 3000rpm in any gear = a multiple of 10mph +/- 1mph anyway

i.e.
3000 in 3rd = 30mph
3000 in 4th = 40mph
3000 in 5th = 50mph

Quite, otherwise you'd also need to final drive ratio & effective circumference of your back tyre......
