Tried an iPod instead of earplugs today--very impressed. But ideally I need a speed sensitive volume, otherwise it's a choice of 'just right at low speeds, too quiet at high speed' or visa versa.

Other than trying to manipulate the volume whilst on the bike, are there any other alternatives? If I put it through an Autocom or similar unit, will I be able to adjust the volume?

My 'OLD' Autocom has this facility......;)

I believe the Starcom 1 system has auto volume increase....

Who needs volume control!!

I don't!!

Got myself a pair of in ear Monitors from Ultimate, set the mD at 4 and it sounds the same at 20 and 120MPH, you cut the crap out and all you hear is the music.

The big Blue flashing light and na na THING, DOES STILL GET THROUGH.

Saves your hearing and enjoyable at the same time.

Dave Marshall at Ultimate is fantastic, see him at the show.

Gary.

I'm with the others, buy the ultimate ear protection monitors, they save your hearing and give good quality audio too.

Also ultimate are a really good company to deal with, I had a problem with one pair of monitors and they sorted it very quickly and with no fuss, highly recommended.
