Speedo Bulb

Anyone know what the Speedo Bulb for the R1100 is?

Mine has gone, which makes it fun riding to work in the dark - oh hum.. am not going to be anywhere near the owners handbook for a couple of days..

I think they are called 3w capless, all glass jobbies, there are four in total, any car accessory shop will carry them, though they will not look exactly the same as the originals,. which are larger .

I've just pulled half the bike to bits to get at the bulbs.. they are 1.7W.. and been out this afternoon trying to find them.. as really don't want to have to rebuild the bike, order them on internet.. then redo all this again next weekend..

Anyone got any ideas as to where might do them on a sunday in Leam/Cov area...

Make sure that you don't fit a higher wattage bulb, look at this.

Well having spent a large amount of time yesterday afternoon and today walking around looking for these bulbs.. I've re-built my bike (no bits left over) and will order some on-line
