Hi there does anyone know of a place that can repair an r45/65 speedo , mine has not recorded miles for some time. Now that never bothered me but suddenly last week it started racking up miles again. the problem is that coming home from work it added 60 miles on an 18 mile journey and it is driving me mad . Any ideas ?
cheers hovis

Look in some of the classic bike mags, there are a couple of adverts in thier that may help you

It is not that difficult. There is a guide somewhere online, I think I got it from the BMW forum.

You need a small phillips head, a clean working surface and some patience.

Also make sure you mark the "speed" needle position before you remove it. I will post a link of the site if I find it.

I repaired the odometer 3 months ago and it still going strong. I would also replace the lightbulbs in the dash at the same time.
