Im talking about the rev counter / speedo clocks. On my 08 GS there is a significant vibration when riding its very irritating, is it norma I have tightened the two bolts holding them in place but still vibrates
As above, check the three spring clips but also make sure the headlight is secure in the rubber bushing at the bottom and the two bolts either side are tight.
It can be very annoying if sunlight is being flashed in your face by the wobbly clock face.
Try new mounting rubbers or cut some rubber washers from cycle inner tube rubber to pad out the standard washers.
Going mad and jamming it solid is unlikely because the clips have go back on.
Thanks lads stripped it down and put it back together. The problem appeared to bee the 2 bolts that the light pivots on not being able to tighten these enough. As the clocks are attached to the lights everything shakes. I will see tomorrow if its sny better when running
