spluttering engine

?? went out to start bike this morning. spluttered into life,ran for 5 seconds than died. did this 5x plus. eventually kept it going,but every time tried to roll throttle on,so it would stall. eventually after 15 minutes of this, cured itself and went for 2hour ride with no problems followed by why???

Sounds like a throttle cable had become unseated/dislodged & righted itself. Been doing anything in the area around the throttle bodies recently? It's easy to hook a throttle cable up & out of its seat on the throttle bodies, even just washing the bike.
